My New Sigma Brushes
Since Sigma Makeup introduced individual brush sale, I finally am able to buy new brushes from their new site http://www.sigmabeauty.com. I got their Flat Top Kabuki and Lip brush. Originally, the lip brush is only available for purchase with their Premium Kit. I have been waiting for this to be available so I am happy they finally decided to sell brushes in the kit individually ^_~
I personally have not tried these two brushes yet so I will just give my first impression on these and I will try it for several weeks to officially post a review on them.
Flat Top Kabuki:
This brush is similar to the Fiber Duo brush just that it is more compact and denser. Also it feels really soft on the skin. It reminds me of a powder puff when I stipple it on my cheeks. I think this will be a good brush to blend face products as well as create a natural looking finish. This brush is also good for creating subtle contours, highlights and blush. Since the bristles feel like powder puff, I thought that it would also be great for Sigma to create a brush with bigger top area with same density that will work as a powder puff. I would be happy if someone will make those since brushes are easier to clean than powder puffs :)
Lip Brush:
The nice thing that I like so much about this brush is that it is travel size and extended handle for better control. The stainless steel cap protects the bristles when not in use so you don't have to worry about contamination or damage when you put it in your makeup kit. It can be attached to the tip to extend the brush handle. The only thing I worry about this is if it will stay tight over time since this may have tendency to become loose.
If any of you have already tried any of these brushes, post a comment about what you think about them. :)
